What exactly do we place on the site?
One tag, plus our lines in your ads.txt. That is the whole integration on your side. Everything behind it, including the AdX seat and every bidding partner, is ours to run.
Do we need our own Ad Manager network?
No. Without one, your site is added to our account and you never touch the ad stack. If you already run Google Ad Manager, you can link it instead: the network stays in your name and we do the same work inside it.

How it runs
Who changes the settings?
A person at Dokira, working against your site rather than a template. It gets revisited as your traffic moves, because what pays in March often stops paying by July.
What does hand-tuning actually mean?
Placements, floors and the bidder mix set against your site rather than against an average. Someone looks at what your pages are doing and changes it, then changes it again when the traffic mix moves.
Do you run private marketplace deals?
Yes, for US inventory. We put suitable US sites forward for private marketplace deals with specific buyers, which run alongside the open auction. We arrange and manage the deals, and every deal running on your site is listed in your dashboard.

The ad stack is ours to operate rather than yours, on our network or inside your own Ad Manager if you link it. What stays yours is the site, the content, the audience and the editorial decisions. If that trade is wrong for you, it is worth saying on the first call.
