How we handle personal data.

Information under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG).

What we collect on this site

The application form

When you submit the form we store the domain, the email address, the pageview range and the optional free-text field, together with the IP address the submission came from.

  • Purpose: to assess the application and reply to you.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering a contract. The IP address is stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in preventing automated abuse.
  • Retention: Retention period to be supplied

Server logs

The hosting provider records standard access data. This is necessary to operate and secure the site, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies

This site sets a session cookie and a CSRF token cookie. Both are technically necessary to operate the form securely and are not used to track you. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set by this site.

Recipients and processors

Data is processed by our hosting provider acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. A list of processors and the countries in which they operate: Processor list to be supplied

Advertising on publisher sites

This page concerns dokira.com only. Where Dokira serves advertising on a publisher's website, the processing that happens there is described in that publisher's own privacy notice and in the contract between us. Roles under the GDPR, and the transparency and consent obligations that follow, are set out in that contract.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have data erased (Art. 17);
  • restrict processing (Art. 18);
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: Oesterreichische Datenschutzbehoerde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Wien, dsb.gv.at.
